2012
- Grant from Lee County Health Department for the creation of Streets Alive of SWFL – Core group identified and consultant hired

2013
- Open streets/ciclovia implementation with 8k+ in attendance. Partnerships with local organizations, 15+ sponsors
2014
- Open streets/ciclovia implementation with 15k+ in attendance – lots of publicity and ad coverage by local media. Partnerships with local organizations created, 15+ sponsors
2015
- Mayor’s Walkable Urban communities’ symposium with 450+ in attendance. Collaborated with CCIM, SWFL Community Foundation to organize the event. 10+ sponsors
2016
- Started support of SWFL Critical Mass events with lights, amplifier speaker systems with 2,400 followers and 5 different locations/rides throughout SWFL

- Acquired and distributed over 2k “3 feet please” stickers for local residents and fleets including Lee Health, LeeTran, LCSO, and Lee County government.
- Initiated participation on the Edison Parade of Lights with Critical Mass
- Collaborated with Franklin Park Elementary School in grant application from Lee County Injury Prevention Coalition to obtain bicycles, safety equipment for students and development of a bicycle/pedestrian curriculum for class implementation (2017 target – school guidelines, time limits, implementation). Impact 450+ students
- Walk to School Day with Franklin Park Elementary in October, 25 participants
- 2016 Transportation Summit in collaboration with the Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association (Grant) (2-day event). Workshop and conference with 250+ in attendance, 10+ sponsors
- Initiated walking audits with and around 2 SWFL schools. Shared the results and safety needs with the School Board and elected officials. Resulted in a small quality improvement of sidewalk to 1 of the schools by the School Board and City of Fort Myers (other updates developed in 2018)
- Bike mechanics workshops implemented in collaboration with Fort Myers Schwinn Cyclery and Caloosa Riders Bicycle Club to support the “I Will Mentorship Foundation”
Over 30 bikes were serviced as well as providing support to mentees to understand the basics of bicycle mechanics. Mentees received the bicycles as a token of their work at the end of the workshops. 100 Black Man organization provided support for these workshops
- Meet Up group supported by Streets Alive for bicycle events in the area with 800+ subscribers
2017
- Participated in the Edison Parade of LIghts with Critical Mass
- Walk to School Day with Franklin Park Elementary School after a connectivity/sidewalk to school was built by the School Board and City addressing other issues thus
- incrementing the attendance from previous years to 120+ attendees
- Engaged partnerships with grassroot organizations to teach the power of connectivity and walking audits to connect community: Girl Trek (Fort Myers Chapter), Deltas,
SWFL Black History Society, Franklin Park Elementary School (Lee County School Board), City of Fort Myers, Quality of Life Center
- Initiated partnership and received grant from the AARP
- Initiated bicycle/pedestrian safety training certification for all Board members and key community partners in partnership with Dan Moser – 10 attendees
- Implemented Dunbar Walk and Roll at Franklin Park Elementary School with 70+ in attendance
- Started redesign for Website with collaborative partners and expanded social media outreach
2018
- Continued partnership with the HealthyLee Coalition
- Partnered with Cape Coral Special Populations Center to service and fix bicycles, provide safety equipment to benefit students, increase physical activity, and improve bike safety awareness. Scheduled train the trainer program in partnership with Dan Moser – 20 trained staff members and 200+ students have benefited from the program
- Received grant from Lee County Injury Prevention Coalition and Royal Palm Realtors Association for a 2018 Creating the Future Today conference
- Implemented 2018 Creating the Future Today: Economic & Infrastructure Development Strategies Designing for People, Place & Profit – 250+ attendees
- Scheduled bike/safety training for Board members and key community partners (June 23rd), expecting 15+ attendees

- Summer project with FGCU: 50 students working on 10 different areas in Lee County to do walking audits, providing solutions, and creating PSAs to be used for awareness. Representatives from FDOT and Lee County Sheriff’s Office in attendance of student’s presentation
- Initiated partnership with Villas Civic Association, use of building for recurring monthly meetings, bike pedestrian safety trainings, and community engagement
- Participated in the Community Fun Day at Mount Hermon Church in Dunbar. Provided bicycle safety to over 100 attendees and a bicycle safety rodeo to 46 participants. Giveaways included helmets, bicycle lights, strobe lights, reflective bands, bicycle bells, and previously loved/refurbished bicycles
